St. Michael’s Hospital Opportunity

The St. Michael’s Hospital Hemophilia Treatment Centre is excited to be participating in a clinical trial of gene therapy for hemophilia A. If you have severe hemophilia A and you have never had an inhibitor you might be eligible to participate. If gene therapy is interesting to you, and you think you might consider participating in this clinical trial, please call the Hemophilia clinic office at 416-864-5129, and we will arrange a telephone or in-person visit to provide you with details of the clinical trial.

Also, soon St. Michael’s Hospital will have a clinical trial open for menstrual bleeding prophylaxis for patients with von Willebrand disease. If you are interested in learning more, please reach out to our clinic and we will be happy to discuss it with you.
